Gaede makes a nice transition to the USHL

On March 4th, 2010, the Woodbury Royals were defeated by Apple Valley in the Section 3AA Minnesota boys hockey final.  The loss ended Max Gaede's high school hockey career.  The premature end to the season was hard to take but Gaede remained focused on his hockey development and began playing for the Sioux City, Iowa Musketeers, of the United States Hockey League, the very next night.

Max has compiled 2 points (1G, 1A) in his first 11-games as a Sioux City Musketeer.  He scored his first career USHL goal last Saturday in a 10-3 Musketeer win over the Lincoln Stars.  Despite a nice run at the end of the season-- that saw the Musketeers score 17 goals in their final two games-- the team fell just short of making the playoffs.
